Olympic High School is hosting a barbecue dinner fundraiser in support of the All-Star Teacher Initiative. The initiative is modeled after a program at East Mecklenburg High School that provides teachers with stipends for school supplies and other expenses.

Bruce Dyer, a 1973 Olympic Alumnus, has started the initiative off with a pledge of up to $250,000.

Tickets for the event are $50. RSVP required.
